Sunshine Coast Mushroom Festival - 2 days -Information and appreciation of our local mushrooms presented by the Sunshine Coast Society for Hunting, Recognition & Observation of Mushrooms (SHROOM). Offsite link: SHROOM.
* Displays and demos - Mushroom I.D. table, cooking demonstrations, mushroom dyeing and vendors.

October 31 ~ Hallowe’en
Pender Harbour Fireworks - 7 pm, presented by the Pender Harbour Fire Department, this pyrotechnical display detonated on the water to music is a great show from a variety of vantage points. At Seafarer's Park (Area Info> Parks Directory), enjoy the best view, entertainment, hot dogs, hot drinks and raffle draws around a bonfire.
Egmont Family Hallowe’en Celebration - Fireworks in the field and hot dogs in the hall.

 Pender Harbour Fall Faire - Harvest exhibition and competitions (produce, baked goods, jams & jellies, wines), entertainment, dog agility and dancing demonstrations, quilt show, photo contest, art auction, vendors, hay rides and a mechanical cow milking contest, all in downtown Madeira Park. Ladies’ Night - Dinner, entertainment and prizes at the Pender Harbour Legion, $50.
Fishermen’s Golf Tourney - The annual Kevin Duncan Memorial tournament at the Pender Harbour Golf Club is open to all but professional golfers. Call 604-883-9541.
