Malaspina Regatta - 11 am, all sailboat classes compete for trophies with a handicap system, ensuring that the biggest boat doesn't have an edge. Skippers' breakfast, raffles, door prizes, awards ceremony and barbecue, hosted by Garden Bay Sailing Club, est. 1990. Call Tom Barker, 604-883-2689.
Wooden Boat Festival - Displays, tours, judging, food, kids’ activities and vendors at Millennium Park, organized by the Pender Harbour and Halfmoon Bay Coast Guard Auxiliaries. Offsite link: Wooden Boat Festival.
